Cambus 507 (B145 GSC) in Mildenhall - 2 Apr 1994

Cambus 507 (B145 GSC) in Mildenhall - 2 Apr 1994
Saturday 2 April 1994 (Easter weekend) – Cambus 507 (B145 GSC) was one of a pair of Alexander RLC bodied Leyland Olympians acquired from Eastern Scottish in 1993 that had operated on the Glasgow-Edinburgh Scottish Citylink service.

It was allocated to Newmarket depot and was seen at the corner of High Street and Mill Street, Mildenhall working the very last trip of service X10 from RAF Mildenhall to Newmarket. It had previously worked the 1750 service from Cambridge which ran as service X11 to Newmarket becoming service X10 from Newmarket to RAF Mildenhall. Unfortunately the route number blind incorrectly shows X11.Service X10 was fairly short lived beginning on 22 February 1993 it only lasted until 2 April 1994.
