December 1981 - Western Scottish V119 (NCS 119W) seen at Baldock when working the London to Glasgow day north service via the 'old road'. The 'K' prefix to the fleet number is a depot allocation code - Kilmarnock I presume. It is a Duple Dominant III bodied Volvo B10M new in June 1981. The blue and white livery adopted for the Anglo-Scottish services of the Scottish Bus Group companies is carried.

Saturday 2 April 1994 (Easter weekend) – Cambus 507 (B145 GSC) was one of a pair of Alexander RLC bodied Leyland Olympians acquired from Eastern Scottish in 1993 that had operated on the Glasgow-Edinburgh Scottish Citylink service. It was allocated to Newmarket depot and was seen at the corner of High Street and Mill Street, Mildenhall working the very last trip of service X10 from RAF Mildenhall to Newmarket. It had previously worked the 1750 service from Cambridge which ran as service X11 to Newmarket becoming service X10 from Newmarket to RAF Mildenhall. Unfortunately the route number blind incorrectly shows X11.Service X10 was fairly short lived beginning on 22 February 1993 it only lasted until 2 April 1994.

Saturday 12 April 2014 (1700) - JIG 9790, an Alexander TC bodied Dennis Dorchester, was acquired by Mulleys Motorways primarily for the 3 plus 2 seats it contained, the plan being to fit them to one of the company’s other coaches regularly used on a school contract. It is said that to have bought a full set of such seats would have cost considerably more than the price that was paid for this complete vehicle. Beeline Executive Travel is based in Billinghay, Lincolnshire. It was new to Western Scottish in April 1987 as their fleet number N216 (D216 NCS) and over its time carried two different Scottish Citylink liveries.
