Bakewell Coaches V678 LWT in Mildenhall - 21 July 2001 (473-18)

Saturday 21 July 2001 – An unusual sighting at King Street, Mildenhall. Bakewell Coaches of Bakewell, Derbyshire V678 LWT, an Ikarus Blue Danube bodied DAF new January 2000, was working a tour feeder on behalf of Grand UK Holidays.

The window label reads ‘Holidays via Clacket Lane’, Clacket Lane Service Area (located on the M25 in Kent) was used as an interchange point by Grand UK. The Toyota mini-bus behind had itself worked a feeder to this coach from North Norfolk.
