Ribble 302 (LRN 302J) at Rochdale - Nov 1971

Ribble 302 (LRN 302J) at Rochdale - Nov 1971
November 1971 – Ribble began choosing Bristol chassis when the marque came on to the open market and 302 (LRN 302J), a Marshall bodied Bristol RESL new in February 1971, was seen at the Ribble stop in Packer Street outside the Trustee Savings Bank in Rochdale prior to working service 244 to Preston. The service was now somewhat reduced from the old days and was now one man operated. In the background is a former Ramsbottom UDC East Lancs bodied Leyland Titan PD3A/1, now a SELNEC bus, working service 469 to Bury.
