Yelloway Devonian Service X5 timetable - Summer 1974

The timetable for the Yelloway 'Devonian' service X5 for the summer of 1974. Changes in the drivers hours rules made it necessary to make modifications to the traditional format (for example, the one through daytime journey covering all points as in the 1969 timetable shown previously) resulting in the coaches bound for Torbay omitting points between Wolverhampton and Tewkesbury and remaining on the M5 Motorway. Note the additional Friday night service timing terminating at Exeter running just 35 minutes behind the Torbay service. This was to segregate the passengers that were going forward on the 0800 services of Royal Blue to Cornwall. Also shown in this timetable is the Friday south/Saturday north Rochdale-Bristol 'short' journey operated for only a few seasons.
