Yelloway Devonian service timetable - Summer 1937

Yelloway Devonian service timetable - Summer 1937
The Yelloway 'Devonian' service had its origins in 1929 operated by Holt Bros (Rochdale) Limited as the 'Devon Express' and it became one of the most important services operated by the company.

The original route was via Gloucester and Bristol, connections were made to the services of Red and White at Gloucester and to Greyhound's services at Bristol. From Saturday 22 August 1936 the Yelloway service was diverted to also serve Cheltenham and thus connect with the Associated Motorways hub.

Since the service was summer only operating four days a week (plus the overnight service southbound on Friday nights from Rochdale) the new arrangements in 1936 were only current for six weeks until the last weekend in September. This timetable therefore represents the first full summer season of the company serving Cheltenham.
