In this case we do have the evidence, that Scotland is far more sunny, than Lake Constance area ... similare theme as mine, but yet very different. Very beautiful though.

A fine capture with your two captures here Carol. I presume this is not from the Kyle of Lochalsh as I thought they had abandoned the ferry after this bridge was built? Well done.

Thank you very much Herb. Really appreciated. I should have said that this is the ferry that goes from Mallaig over to Armadale on the Isle of Skye and is a very busy route, particularly in the summer months. It suits our purpose as it cuts off an hour or more of the trip and a lot of miles and is an excuse to relax and enjoy the ferry ride. HFF and have a good weekend

With the Skye bridge, I didn't know the ferry kept running. Does it serve any purpose the bridge doesn't?

Thank you very much Peter. Really appreciated. Sorry I should have said this is the ferry that goes from Mallaig to Armadale on Skye. It cuts an hour or so off the journey and saves a long drive.

Excuse-me of being late, Carol. Sure it reminds me of the time I was eleven and went to Lisbon,
every morning 6.20 pm departure from my village, on Lisbon Estuary to the big city, high school had begun. The winter and the rest all on a 50 minutes trip with factory workers, not a ferry on a Diesel powered (submarine 7 cylinders engine) riveted hull, white passenger boat (not Line).
