A fungus dissolves into black ink

Kein Tropf vom Schopf
Bin ich ganz heiß
Auf diese Speis

Actually, the shaggy ink cap (Coprinus comatus), also called lawyer's wig or shaggy mane, is a species of mushroom from the Agaricaceae family and a much sought-after edible mushroom when young. However, once the mushroom cap is expanded, it is very poisonous when eaten together with alcohol.
The black "ink" contains the fungal spores with which it spreads. The PiPs show a life cycle.
Remarkably, the shaggy ink cap also feeds on nematodes living in the soil, which it catches and digests with its fungal filaments (hyphae) (see Wikipedia article).
