Winterfinale - Winter finale

Fast pünktlich zum Ende des meteorologischen Winters gab es überall in Unterfranken zum ersten Mal in diesem Winter kräftige Schneefälle, welche die Landschaft buchstäblich verzauberten. Im Bild eine gepflegte Streuobstwiese, umgeben von Hecken und Bäumen: Ein Paradies für die Pflanzen- und Tierwelt.

Almost punctually to the end of the meteorological winter, there were strong snowfalls everywhere in Lower Franconia for the first time in this winter, which literally enchanted the landscape.In the picture a cultivated meadow orchard surrounded by hedges and trees: A paradise for the plant and animal world.

Der Winter (Frau Holle) haben also höchstwahrscheinlich den Kalender falsch rum aufgeblättert oder hingelegt. Hoffentlich haben sie da droben den Fehler bemerkt und korrigiert - nicht dass das das Jahr über so weiter geht... ((•‿•))

Nein, fast ohne Farben, da es ziemlich düster und der Himmel mit Schneewolken bedeckt war. Hatte auch seinen Reiz.

This really is gorgeous. What a sight. And a wonderful choice for b/w. Totally magical and such interesting timing as well. We are forecast to have snow tomorrow but it's usually wrong. Quite cold in the mornings though so who knows?
