Renault "Dauphine"
Die Renault Dauphine ist ein von 1956 bis 1968 gebautes Pkw-Modell des französischen Herstellers Renault. Das Fahrzeug mit typischer Pontonkarosserie hatte einen wassergekühlten Heckmotor.
Der Name bedeutet „Thronfolgerin“ und zielte auf die Verkaufserfolge des 4CV in Europa ab. Sie erfreute sich vor allem auch in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland großer Beliebtheit. Dem VW Käfer konnte sie jedoch nicht den Rang ablaufen. Wie schon der Vorläufer 4CV wurde die Dauphine nur als viertürige Limousine verkauft.
