Today we are on our way to Texel, the largest Dutch North Sea island.
In Den Helder am waiting for the ferry which connects the mainland with the island.

Den Helder is a port city, base of rescue ships, home port of the Royal Navy and hub for offshore activities, about 145 platforms are supplied by helicopter and ship from Den Helder.

Ich habe die Niederlande besucht und es ist ein wunderschönes Land, aber dieses Bild sieht so industriell aus und so wie andere Hauptstraßen zu einem Stadthafen. Sie müssen auf einer Brücke gewesen sein, um diese Ansicht zu erhalten - wirklich gut.
