Emsworth Harbour, Hampshire

Taken yesterday on a very short outing. Wet, misty and miserable! I wasn't worried about getting my camera wet, but it was impossible to keep the rain off the lens for more than a second or two. Had to retire to the coffee shop! Total photos taken (including this one) was one :-))

I love it. Feel right at home in that sort of weather. It's got great atmosphere. I can feel exactly what the weather is like. Rain on the lens is a real pain. If there's wind I usually turn my back and see what there is in the other direction. Usually nothing ! Coffee sounds the best option.

Dés que le 15 Aout est passé, l'automne montre son bout de nez malicieux. (J'aime bien les deux cygnes qui discutent au sujet du photographe) Ici, la chaleur est revenue mais les Anglais sont partis précipitemment.., comme aspirés par un fort vent d'automne. Il semblerait qu'ils veuillent éviter une "quarantaine" à leur retour. Quelle "foutue " année Amitié. Jean paul

Looks like the boats are bobbing about well Keith! The misty atmosphere looks great...better for photos than being out in it!! It's a beautiful scene and the swans make it even better!
