avr[25] - arrived at the Halt [HFF]
The train has been here a couple of minutes, and the tail lamp is about to change ends ...
There is a 10 minute allowance for the engine to "run around" on the loop, quite long enough to get some good pictures and to stretch legs on the platform.
I think a couple of intrepid people raced up onto Edenhill Bridge for their pictures.
The Midland / LMS style sloped fence at the back of the platform is protecting passengers from quite a drop down into trees, as the land dips here.

StoneRoad2013 club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubIf you get the opportunity, you would probably enjoy a visit to the AVR.
They're not the biggest organisation, nor a long ride, however, I feel the atmosphere is very happy there.
