There were some incredible kites being flown on Southsea Common. The size of some of them was incredible

The colours in this very healthy looking mallard (plump!) duck really stood out. Snapped with the phone camera whilst out for a sunny spring walk along the Shropshire Union Canal towpath.

The trees planted on the wide Strand in Liverpool look superb lit from below. The green electric scooters somehow just seemed to fit the scene. Another shot that works well viewed in full screen should you wish to do so.

I captured just the spokes of the Wheel of Liverpool and thought the effect was interesting. I think it works well viewed large, in Full Screen should you wish to give it a go.

I processed this in Black and White which (I think) enhances the shadows from the railings onto the steps. Works best in full screen view.
