Winter Woodland

South Downs in winter. A rather wet and soggy landscape today with regular heavy downpours. I like the shadows cast by the trees against a low winter sun.

A stunning shot Ed............the light and and shadows are just wonderful. I like the trees standing tall like sentinel (with just a couple of fallen soldiers in the background). The carpet of golden leaves is gorgeous.
