HFF Bluebell Railway Sheffield Park 8th August 2025
British Railways Standard 9F 2-10-0 92240 in the bay by the footbridge at Sheffield Park station. It was saved from Woodham's scrapyard in 1978 but it was to be another 12 years before it steamed again, the first 9F to do so in preservation. After a period of active service 92240 was withdrawn some time ago. There is a current scheme known as "Awake the Giant" actively seeking donations for its restoration.
