Arriving Cheddleton
My Sunday trip to the Churnet Valley Railway was punctuated by heavy and constant rain. The trains were well patronised considering the conditions with a typical British "we are going to enjoy ourselves whatever" spirit prevailing.As the Great Western 0-6-2 had broken a spring the steam haulage was the Polish Tank with the class 33 to give a push up the bank to Ipstones.
