The Buck and Dog
The Buck and Dog Hotel stood on Warren Street in Stockport. It was an old coaching inn and inn 1770 it was the house of call for the press gangs. The pub was demolished in the 1980s and replaced with a new building containing a Barclays Bank. The impressive entrance to the former pub was incorporated into the bank building but moved around the corner to face onto Percy Street.
