May the bokeh of light and hope, strength and courage shine down on each and every one of you who is affected in one way or another by cancer, either yourself or a loved one. Perhaps, one day, this disease will be completely eradicated from the world - may the bokeh of light guide all those who search for "The Cure".

On a personal note, Penny, all your friends including me are thinking of you. Bird walks are strangely quiet without your infectious laughter and great sense of humour. We want to see you when winter birding begins closer to Christmas!!
