Young Mulies

There is a tiny patch of rough garden next to the Colonel Walker House at Inglewood Bird Sanctuary (photo recently uploaded), and when I was there a few days ago, five or six Mule Deer were happily feeding on whatever they could find. These two young ones were so cute. Only got a quick chance to photograph them as a man and his little daughter walked straight past me, wanting to get closer to the deer to get photos. Well, of course, what would you expect the deer to do but to take off. I was not impressed at all, ha.
Almost forgot to mention, I was standing in my kitchen maybe an hour ago and I noticed something go past my window. When I peered through the blinds, I saw a gorgeous buck trotting past my place : ) I guess he'd lost his way from the local park. Do hope he found his way back home.
