Emma Juch by Falk
Emma Juch (1863-1939); Austrian soprano.
In 1881 she made her debut at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London as Philine in “ Mignon” and in the same year she sang at New York Academy of Music. She had her career mainly in the USA and from 1884/87 she was engaged by the American Opera Company and the season 1887/88 by the National Opera Company. She then established her own company and from 1888-1891 she made tours through the USA and Mexico with the “Juch Grand Opera Company”. She retired in 1894 but 10 years later she made 3 grammophone records for the Victor label.
