I saw something along these lines on Artland USA on the TV...

It's an amazing feat of logistics, and safety (the actual installation had to meet fire codes, and be secure enough not to fall on passersby), but it also looks amazing--what cheerful colors!--I hear it's causing traffic problems as drivers slow down to have a look:

This is awesome! BTW, I've imported some of my yarnbomb pix from Flickr and have started an album. I'm part of a group called Riot Prrl in Northampton, Massachusetts.

It really is. I'm heading out today to help stitch some of the leftover squares into blankets for a women's shelter. This project became bigger and more interesting than even its organizers dreamed. Cool when that happens.

Riot Prrl is an amazing name for a yarnbombing group!
