Oh, this is in the eastern part of Germany, there are a lot more abandoned buildings. I like abandoned buildings though, they have a certain charm. And rest assured those buildings in the city of Görlitz are in the process of being beautifully renovated. Yet, it takes time... so there are actually more affordable apartments for rent than in most western German cities.

Yes, you're right about walls with history and this being quite an abandoned building. I'm sure it's going to be renovated like a lot of buildings in the city of Görlitz (Germany's easternmost city).
