Just around the corner from Victoria's Inner Harbour, Fisherman's Wharf offers food kiosks, unique shops and eco-tour adventures in a working harbour setting. I went down on a sunny day, found a lot of tourists, and used my expressive colour filter setting. Wow, you almost need to put on sunglasses to look at these photos!

Created by Jennie Butchart, and still privately owned and operated by the family, The Gardens was designated a National Historic Site of Canada, in 2004 for its one hundredth birthday. A recent visit reminded me that I should visit more often!

I had fun walking through my neighbourhood after dinner with a whisky glass over my camera lens, for something to do! The photos remind me of a kaleidoscope, and also a cathedral rose window.
