I saw this car in a parking lot and was impressed by the colours on the mylar film used to block the sun. Very trippy!

Flying Fish

I lost track of the day and had to scramble around the house to find a photo idea and decided my hanging fish over my bath tub would have to do, since it's almost 9:00 pm. I do like the image of the flying fish because the artist Marc Chagall painted flying fish as dreamscapes in his paintings. This fish looks out the window all day long. One photographer that I admire is the German-Canadian photographer, Fred Herzog. We share the same birthday, September 21, and he came to live in Vancouver BC, where I was born. He was a master of colour (Kodachrome) photography and a street photographer who is unsentimental, yet affectionate towards his photographic subjects.

I'm now walking in the wharf area with the tourist places, lots of outdoor seating and food, and so much colour.

I walked around a fisherman's wharf and area for tourists on Saturday and took these photos. I can't resist peeling paint.

This mannequin has Greta Garbo eyebrows and her beautiful eyes look to be full of tears.

This mannequin is dressed in the clothing worn by nurses in WWII. It's interesting how a mannequin can express resolution and strength of character.

I volunteer at a Costume Museum in the summer months. One exhibit features women who did war service.
