I made a visit to a local pumpkin patch to get in the spirit of October.

Almost home, and for the first time I notice this glass sculpture right on my shopping street! A fun Saturday photo outing to share.

Like most Saturdays, my day starts with going out for coffee.

I played around with this image of the fog, feels almost science fiction to me.

It's unusual to have fog, and on Tuesday it was only to be found in one bay. I took a chance standing in the middle of the road to take this photo!

On World Photography Day, I went out after dinner to visit a once-iconic structure that housed a popular coffee shop that I’ve photographed before, because the site has been lifeless and left to decay for well over a decade after years of vacancy. A couple of recent fires prompted our city to order a controlled collapse of the building. There’s not much left, except the graffiti covered remains. Tonight, the space is being ‘reclaimed’ by nature, and I admire nature’s tenacity amidst a city backdrop.

The Turner Building in Victoria, was recently demolished due to significant structural damage and safety concerns following years of vacancy and a couple of recent fires. The site has been lifeless and left to decay for well over a decade.
