Visiting Versailles on my recent trip to France was a dream come true, especially to walk in the footsteps of kings and my favourite photographer, Atget. I was disappointed at first to find the marble statues covered to protect them over the winter. But then I saw the beauty in the draped figures and this became my favourite photo from Versailles.
