Why have some of my photos disappeared?

← Back to Index There are several possible reasons: 1) You are not logged in! If you are not logged in non-public content does not appear. 2) At the end of your free trial you haven't subscribed for the standard package. During your free trial you could test all features of our standard package. If you haven't subscribed to one of our paid subcriptions at the end of the trial your account has changed to guest status. As the number of photos uploaded is limited to 20 and the maximum file size to 2.5 MB for free guest accounts photos exceeding these limits may have been deleted after the end of the free trial. If you have subscribed to the basic package at the end of the free trial photos exceeding an upload limit of 2.000 photos, a storage limit of 5 GB or the maximum file size of 2.5 MB may have been deleted. 3) Your subscription to the basic package or the standard package has lapsed If your subscription to one of our paid accounts had lapsed some time ago your account may have changed to guest status and all photos exceeding the upload limit of 100 photos or the maximum file size of 2.5 MB may have been deleted.

How to change the photo license?

How to report a copyright infringement?

We'll suspend the related account until the content is removed. Please avoid getting involved to someone else's copyright infringement cases. The copyright infringement notice should always be done by the legal copyright owner. You can of course inform your friends and contacts if you suspect their copyright has been infringed.

Can I restrict who is able to view and download my content?

← Back to Index A) Change the account default settings for "Authorization and license" The default settings affects only new uploads made after the new settings are saved. 1) Select "Your account settings" from the drop-down menu (☰) next to your name. 2) Click on "Photos and other content", and set the default for all of your contents. 3) Next to "Maximum quality, download, embedded code" click "Edit the rules". ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Set for each category of visitors the highest quality photos and videos that you offer them. B) Change authorization and license for a single image 1) Click "change" next to section "Authorizations, license". 2) Change "Authorizations" and "License" on separate tabs. C) Change authorization and license for multiple images 1) Click on "Organize". ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ 2) Open "Edit these items" menu and choose either "Authorizations" or "License". If you wish to implement the change only for selected images, hold "Ctrl" key down while clicking images for the selection.

Which type of documents can I upload?

← Back to Index Because ipernity is primarily a photo sharing site you can upload a lot of different image and video file formats like JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, or AVI, FLV, WMV and MP4 that ipernity adds to the photos section of your account and displays as image or video respectively. Further more it is possible to upload files of many other file formats. All files that are not recognized as image files or videos by ipernity will be shown in the "Docs" section of your account. Select "Docs" from the drop-down menu (☰) next to your name to access those files. The list of files that may be uploaded is extensive and includes many popular types. You can simply try. Only if your file is rejected you will have to think about converting the format.

Is the amount of content that I can upload or publish limited?

← Back to Index Yes. The precise limits depend on your subscription plan. Standard package No limit with respect to the total number of photos uploaded and no monthly upload limit. But storage for all your content is limited to 100 GB. With typical file sizes that is enough for several 10,000 photos. File size is limited to 500 MB. If you need more storage you can buy additional space. Basic package Total number of photos uploaded is limited to 2,000. Storage for all your content must not exceed 5 GB. There is a monthly upload limit of 200 MB. File size is limited to 2.5 MB. Free guest account Total number of photos uploaded is limited to 20 and file size to 2.5 MB.
