Scotland / Dirleton

Dirleton Kirk a very beautiful sandstone church built in 1612, it replaced the 12th century church in Gullane .
Inside the church you can learn a lot about the historical nature of the building.
It is the first example of the neoclassical style in Scotland. Gothic battlements were added to the tower in 1836.
