I due tronchi in primo piano non fungono solamente da quinta; il loro sviluppo di rami sembra avvolgere e proteggere la casa. La foto, se non fosse per i montanti colorati dell'edificio, si baserebbe esclusivamente sul bel contrasto tra il candore della neve ed i rami scuri (anch'essi intrisi di neve) ma tutto questo è una accurata velatura che ci introduce, in maniera graduale, alla casa, la vera anima della foto. Vista così, avvolta da neve e silenzio, potrebbe simboleggiare una specie di "buen retiro" dell'anima, lontana dalla confusione e dalla fretta del mondo.
Una foto ben costruita, in cui lo sguardo è guidato dai rami verso la casa e ci viene la voglia di raggiungerla.

Questa casa , carissimo Fabio, d'inverno sembra diventare un tutt'uno con la neve. E' in una posizione ritirata e privilegiata pur non essendo lontana dal borgo di montagna .Da sempre per me rappresenta davvero "un buen retiro", ne sono affascinata , malgrado mi sia familiare. Un valore simbolico...il rifugio , appunto.
