La diagonale divide mirabilmente la foto in due parti nette, il primo piano ben illuminato e lo sfondo nella quasi oscurità, creando un magnifico contrasto che evidenzia ancora di più la scena.
Pur non essendo questa immagine propriamente un ritratto, si riconosce lo stile di tanti tuoi lavori, basato su una luce intensa sui volti, o parte di essi, e lo sfondo scuro, oramai una cifra dei tuoi lavori.
Anch'io, come Rosa, sono rimasto incuriosito su quelli affreschi (?) sulla parete, sembrano antichi.
Insomma, una ottima foto !

But what really fascinates me is that the photo is like a fixation picture:
the two people are standing in the banister, as if they had no abdomen!
The shadows between the pillars are so strong that the masonry of the balustrade is pushed into the background.
