Hi dear LGM ~ Yes we took a week's holiday down in Sennen Cove as usual. We missed the tail end of a big storm which was a pity. There were still some big waves rolling in though. My dream is to be there when there is a monster storm when the waves throw water hundreds of feet in the air x

Just looking at this, I can hear the waves crashing upon the rocks! A sound I love!

Yes Rosa the noise is great ~ We have a picture on our kitchen wall of a wave breaking very high indeed, the water reaches right up to the little castle at the top of the rocky hill ~ one day .....

I'm a sucker for a high seas shot. I know this spot but I've not been there in this sort of weather.

We have spent a week in early October for several years in Sennen Cove but always missed a really big storm ~~~ it would be frightening but spectacular

A splendid vision of the power of the seas Nick. Sennen Cove is one of our all-time favourite places but we never saw it like this.
