Time for a lick and a polish - if one is an enthusiast. ;-)

Hi Nick

I really like the atmosphere here, and the obvious story of preparing the locomotives for their work. Although the man from elf n safety has pretty well stopped this kind of photography now. Pity!

Best Wishes, and a good weekend

Hi Peter, my trick used to be to get there before the elves arrived, wearing a fluorescent yellow waistcoat helped too maybe. Thanks for your good wishes ~ Hanwe

Looks like history in the making here. The idea of getting here this early in Autumn to capture this was very good indeed. As you say about that bird.... Well done. ~ Herb

Thanks Herb, I'm a natural early riser anyway ~ this place is a couple of hours away from me in the early morning. It gets very busy later as does Sheffield Park which is nearby and a very popular spot in Autumn ~ All the best ~ Nick
