Strangely enough, I just looked at the calendar I have in the living room. I thought for a moment that the August picture looked familiar.. It was exactly this scene taken from the same spot, with the same train.. Only difference was a few more green trees in the foreground. Obviously a very popular classic shot!

A great shot Peter in some ways mirroring my own experience of capturing this place. So, must add too, have you just taken this or is it an earlier visit. I do think that this higher viewpoint is perhaps better than mine was. Very well done. ~ Herb

I am so happy that you like the 'classic' scene. You have thought a little more and got a more creative view, more suited to the 'tender first' working. The same, but very different!
As for the date, we have spoken about this before. It is a few years old, but when ipernity doesn't make sense of the date in EXIF, it defaults to 'today'.
