Samphire is a crisp, succulent sea vegetable with a distinctively salty, briny flavor. Highly prized by chefs, it acts as a perfect natural seasoning and is an excellent accompaniment to white fish, lamb, and egg dishes

Merjenbrücke - Stalden - Switzerland
Merjen Bridge (in the background) and Illas Bridge
Built between 1929 and 1930, the bridge is about 108 meters long and sits at a dramatic height of 115 meters above the riverbed.
In 1959, the larger Illas Bridge was built just below the Merjen Bridge and parallel to it. This new concrete bridge, again planned by Alexandre Sarrasin, replaced the thirty-year-old Merjen Bridge, which had become too weak for heavy traffic, as the largest structure on the Saas Valley road H 212. Since then, the older bridge has been used for non-motorised traffic.
Thank you so much to all who visit the picture!
Whishing you a good weekend ! Stay safe and healthy!
