Hi Sarah,

Thank you so much for your wonderful words here, I am really happy that you have enjoyed it so much. This tree is in my back garden, and has just come into blossom. The bees were very busy that day, but it needs a better person than me to identify the bee, or the tree!!

Peter some thing I grew up with and wanted to take photos of but the Bee allergy means a longer lens and a VERY respectable distance. I have not been bitten for a long time but dont wish it again.

Friends

Hats off to a stunning photo at 82 mm, Keep up the safe work.

Thank you so much Steve,

Your visit and wise words are really appreciated. Generally, our bees are quite docile (unless really tormented), but wasps are much nastier. Even then, unless you threaten them or their nest, there is not usually a problem, but in your case I agree, not worth the risk!!

Hi Steve,

Thank you so much for visiting. I am really happy that you liked it.
As for the name f the bee, I thought only the females had the pollen sacks, so it must be Betty...
(Or maybe I was wrong...)
