I had hoped to provide some more Cornwall material by now but it just hasn't been possible (yet). In the meantime, a slightly belated H. A. N. W. E. to all! (On large works quite well, I feel)

As I can't download photos from my phone at the moment (I'll try to get it fixed soon), here is one from the archives that was certainly on Panoramio but I don`t think on here before.

Not the best of days weather-wise. Another oldie while I try to find the time to sort out my uploading difficulties. Perhaps best on black.

Pelargonium, Saint Day garden, Cornwall

St Michael's Mount from Marazion, Cornwall. I can't now remember what I was thinking of when editing this. I thought about a re-edit but in the end decided to leave it as it is; partly I think because I like the clouds as they are.

Another corner of my mum's garden.

Taken from the same spot as the previous post, different view and separated by time of day and ten years! Miracle of miracles! 1) I found an hour of 'me' time and drove to the coast here. First time in 2 and a half weeks of being in Cornwall that I actually set eyes on the sea! 2) My phone camera actually allowed this one shot to be uploaded onto my laptop !

Man and his Man, Cow and calf and Bawden's Rocks are just three names given to these two islets.

Went for a brief lungful of sea air in the hour I had available before returning to cook supper and It was fortunate that I co-incided with this colourscape! North Cliffs, Cornwall.

A late blooming passion flower and all the more welcome for that! My mum's garden, Saint Day, Cornwall.

North Cliffs, Cornwall. And, yes; there is a (faint) path down! Perhaps better on large for the detail in the cliff face.

High tide. Cornish coast. Southwest Peninsula Coastpath. The footpaths in the grass opposite indicate that there are interesting ways down!

Another spectacular dawn. I was priviliged to see some of these for a time at a previous high rise flat.

Another of my sister's from one of the terraces. Good on large. (She'll be retiring in the not-too-distant future so I'll try and persuade her to join ipernity as she ought to have more time!)

Newdowns Head, St Agnes, Cornwall.

Another of my sister's shots. We certainly get some good skies! View from the middle terrace. I could never get tired of this view! Works quite well on large and then on beaming in further! I thought about cropping it to knock out the top part of the sky, but decided to retain the integrity of my sister's shot in full. La Sierra de La Cabrera. A day of fog for the whole of central Spain. I wasn't sure when I set out by bus whether a) the bus would actually get to the mountains and b) that I would eventually stick my head up from under the cloud. It worked a treat on both counts and I got some lovely pics, many of them previously shown. 11 years ago but it seems like yesterday, of course! It was helpful that I already knew all the paths here like the back of my hand! Underneath the fog here is the Valley of the Lozoya river. Behind me you would have an even bigger sea of fog, with Madrid deeply under it.
