A wonderful stretch of the the South West Peninsula Coast Path, Zennor, West Penwith, Cornwall.
Gurnard's Head; so named because of its resemblance to the fish.
The raised coastal platform, or strip, will immediately be apparent to all you amateur geographers out there!

There is a great low tide walk along the shore line here (this is the half-way point). It is about 2 miles (3.2 km) long, takes 1.5 to 2 hours and involves some rock hopping but not too much. The crucial things is that the timing needs to be accurate!

May 1. Forecast bright, sunny and hot, I was caught out by a snow storm which came out of the blue, and wearing only a t-shirt. Fortunately it passed by in half an hour and the sun came out again!
On 'z' please.
