Pedraza door knocker
This reminds me of Carmen T (from Zaragoza) and her great knockers, on Pano. I wonder where she is now? Probably Flickr but does anyone know?
NEWSFLASH! Well, I am delighted that Carmen is here again!! I dedicate this to her of course!

This is an absolutely delicious wild plum. I found that Bullaces can come in red, green, purple and yellow. They are a bit smaller than most cultivated plums but larger than damsons and sloes. Mid July and perfectly ripe. My brother's garden in Bromley.
The one nearest the camera was eaten with much relish by yours truly immediately after taking this shot!

These are profuse here between April and June, as are others including a Snake's Tongue variety. Well, early June is still spring in the Sierra.
Anacamptis picta, is the name of this variety. I have Ronald Losure to thank for this information. He has included more information and photos in a useful link alongside his comment below. Shot taken 2013 and first posted on ipernity 2016.

Not sure what went on here. I took some night shots. All seemingly normal. On looking at this a few days later it seemed rather eerie, if not spooky! I don't know what the vague impression of a double image is exactly or even if it's here at all. But there is enough of a suggestion of ... something ... to give me goose bumps !
Taken in Hortaleza, Madrid.
Nice accident!!
Another shot of the best positioned tomb ever!

Prehistoric and brilliant. Unfortunately there are no contents now - tomb robbers very soon after and wild weather down the centuries cleaned this out but still ... What a terrific site for a tomb! Obviously someone much loved (or feared?)
This is my mushroom rock!

This enormous slab of granite looks mushroom-like from afar, not so much from this close. Its summit is the highest point in La Sierra de La Cabrera.

This tunnel was dug to enable access between two small coves, each of which is used for fishing boats. Very near Land's End, West Penwith, Cornwall. For Pam.
