New council sponsored murals (certainly less than a week old) on walls near Madrid's Chamartin station.

I had a class cancellation today so was left in limbo for an hour or so. As I had to pass through here anyway I remembered these recent murals and so took time to record a few. I will post more over the next few days and weeks.
A fabulous wall mural

I showed this before but it is worth a more detailed expose.
The street artist, whomsoever she or he is, gets the thoombs oop from me!
This is my favourite of very many excellent street art exhibits on the site of Chamartin Station's car park - to be demolished sooner or later. This will therefore be transient but I will enjoy it while it lasts.

I have two styles of handwriting; Calligraphic, used for baby albums, wedding invites, wedding table placings, etc, which was a secondary source of income at one time ...
and this - nigh on illegible - which is now 100% of my writing style!!
Street Art.
The Four Towers and street art.

The whole area between here and these 4 towers has been an 'on and off - mainly off - project' for many years to build many more such towers - I read 5 more, then 13 more and then 137 more (OK I exaggerate here!). I think envy of La Defense in Paris runs deep. They can't make up their minds. I think the street art might stay here for years!
More street art and the last of the spring mallow.

I think the graffiti and vegetation go well together here. Next time I pass by, only the graffiti will remain, I suspect!
More street art.
HFF everyone!

Near Porthmeor Cove. These are called something like Veryan Cliffs but my memory is at fault and I can't get detailed enough maps. It seems the Ordnance Survey map I use (back in Cornwall) can't be accessed on the Web here.
And yes, I got a bit wet!

La Sierra de La Cabrera, Madrid Province.
That's it from me folks for a couple of weeks.
On my return I hope to have fresh Cornwall material to show!
Have a good summer!!!
Apologies, I now see that I have posted this twice. Oh well ...

Somehow my shadow looks fairly professional and seems to know what it is doing ... but obviously this was far from the case as the camera must have been pointing down to the ground! OOPS!!!

Again this is the cloud that caused much excitement and front-page newspaper photos from nearby Land's End, and I have no idea why!

I simply liked the stone and vegetation contrast and the near timelessness of the site.
