Cistus siblings and granite

Cistus siblings and granite
I'm fond of these, the flower heads of the cistus seem to have 'personality!'

Gudrun, Diane Putnam, Nouchetdu38, Rosalyn Hilborne and 10 other people have particularly liked this photo

Is it the way it has a face that it makes you think it has personality?

I knew them as rock roses for 75 % of my life including having them in 4 gardens. Then I moved to Spain, Diane and encountered the wild varieties. End of story, I think!!!
