This is/was all the interior fittings and fixtures, is it, for one supermarket?

Not all of it. Through the window I could see cash registers, big refrigerators and other valuable things pulled to the doors, probably being sold elsewhere. As far as I could tell, this was all of the ceiling stuff like ducts and those big fiber tile things, plus the metal framework. Flooring, maybe. I couldn't recognize anything else, really.

No, but it has a fascination to it somehow!

Well, the disorder is just ONE possible arrangement of chaos. :)

Ooh, that's a deep thought, poly! Are you speaking in the sense of philosophy or physics? ;-b

It is based on a statement by my former physics teacher. He was pretty messy. When asked, he used to say that order is only ONE possible state of chaos. :-))

Seems like an odd way to demolish. In most of California they would have had trucks hauling the stuff away all day and wouldn't have piled it like this.

I thought so too, Don. This way, they have to lift it twice! And, it's way too tempting for kids to start digging into the pile. I'd think it would be against some safety regulation.
