OH no! Way beyond me, as is Gimp. Don't have the aptitude or the patience to learn. I started downloading my own textures, at the suggestion of Sami. I occasionally find a successful way to use one. The above layer is a photo of a string mop over my own rose hip photo, which I had color-reversed. (You can do this with ipiccy or picmonkey.)

You can just search "textures" and download whatever appeals to you.
