The outing

The outing
A little walk for these school children here in Linz, Austria today. An exciting time no doubt, no matter the destination. The teachers here keep a watchful eye over their flock and that is reflected in the name of the pharmacy they are about to pass 'der Apotheke Schutzengel'- Guardian Angel. (Thanks to Lothar (below) for pointing that out to me). A striking other thing: the teachers were talking only English to the children! A wonderful way to learn a foreign language from an early age.

Such a delightful candid shot Herb...........the children look very well behaved. There are a couple of schools near me and we often see the children on outings very similar to this..........only here, the children all have to wear little hi-vis waistcoats :-). So cute!

It is always nice to witness the young of today in such a fashion Keith. Such a pity that the needs of our world soon encroaches on them as proven by the hi-vis waistcoats needed by our children here. Very happy that you liked this different shot from me.
