In the deep mid-winter
Winter, though mostly cold and dark can be an exciting time. Here is a wonderful misty mood shot form my local valley, unfortunately maybe, also accompanied by this cruel barbed fence.

Hi Peter. Always good to read your comments here. Like you, I too enjoyed the subdued lighting here. I think it was bright in some places. A real feeling of cold here which after your Harz in winter exploring's you will appreciate.

I've pretty much ignored all the HFF shots this week Herb...........but this one is too good for me to do that.

Despite the prominent fence, I really like the moody atmosphere here and I also like the subdued lighting. The frost just adds that little something extra!
