Memories of Afon Mawddach

Memories of Afon Mawddach
For my last fence of the year I re-visit Barmouth and its River Mawddach estuary where we were at in July this year. A healthy hike up to this spot especially after many detours. Its all downhill from here now and a hot coffee awaits us back at the car, parked not far away from the right-most boat across the water. - Another capture with my phone here – please forgive me.

Glad you like another view from up here. Yes the phone works well when no camera available. I ran up to this spot a hundred yards or so and left my camera ruck-sack back at the seat with Eileen.

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
Very nice composition.
Always difficult to find foreground objects on these hills, but the fence posts do just fine!
Having said that, I have not done this particular walk... Cadair Idris, Cnicht, Yr Wyddfa... Yes, but up here, not yet!

Hi Peter and apologies for delay in answering. Yes, a great walk here with lots of variations. We had intended to get to the National trust memorial on this Dinas Oleu walk but we did so many false paths that we never actually made it to that. Well sorth doing Peter, next time you are around there. Glad you liked it .
