Man and Nature

As we see the end of this area of Wasdale I get a scene of great contrast. The peaks and rock around here are known for their grey colour of slate and granite; indeed the Lake District town of Kendal is known as the Grey or Slate Town having been constructed with so much of this stone. There were some smoke from these chimneys and voices too and so, occupied I guess.
And so ends another chapter in my Lake District series. I shall bring more, in some weeks time.
