Look back on Whitby

Look back on Whitby
A last look at Whitby from the seaside hamlet of Sandsend. We are actually looking east here to Whitby Abbey and piers just about 2.3 miles away,

Full screen essential.

Oh yes, I like this shot a lot Herb! The waves looks beautiful and the Whitby looks great from this location as well. Cheers, Rosa.

Thanks Rosa and by now you have a good idea of Whitby and its surroundings. I presume and hope that you visited Toz's giant Whitby collection too. Sandsend is quite popular as it offers ample roadside parking (most free) and some nice sands for the children. I will post some more from this coast in a few weeks again.

Thanks Judite. Whitby from afar, and showing the hill-top Abbey always looks impressive. Certainly one of my favourite British towns. Glad you liked it too.

A lovely littoral scene, Herb. I love the dynamism of the waves. I can imagine Dracula landing here. LOL. All the best, Joe
