A glimpse of Corfu

Oooh nice. It looks quite lovely there in the last of the days light...........I like the hazy view of the mountains in the back ground. The two castles look interesting (and photogenic)!

I especially like the view over the rooftops in the 3rd PiP - even taking the perspective into account, there seems to be an amazing amount of houses and other building packed in that relatively small area!

Your "floating home" doesn't look too shabby either.

Good to see you again Keith. The first of my Greek Island tour here but certainly not the last. Our first port of call after a day at sea was to be Santorini but high winds put paid to that, so Turkey for a day instead!. Glad you liked this and another peek at my last trip here only four years ago (it seems much longer than that.) We only used Corfu as a staging post and after a very long day travelling here (starting at 3am), we only took a very small walk just up to the edge of the town seen here before we were off. This taken under way. Our floating 'home' for a week was pretty nice too, as you say.
