The Seven Sisters from the old coastguards cottages.
One of the most beautiful scenes in the British Isles. Believe me, it was even more beautiful walking around here with these views and only the sound of sea birds for company.

Inspired after seeing a recent photo in a fellow Ipernity collection by John Goodwin: www.ipernity.com/doc/2248118/47020146 I thought I would bring out an old Panoramio-like photo of mine when I was walking around these parts. Thanks for this visit Poly. As already mentioned above, one of the most iconic landscapes in the British Isles. The houses are quite old and basic, built for practicality, with their main windows and doors facing away from the sea weather. This was a very popular photo in dear old Panoramio too. Thanks for the star (off which I still have not discovered the code for on my PC).

I like this very much! Such an amazing contrast between the houses and the big white cliffs beyond, and then the path just right to lead the eye into the scene. Excellent!

Thanks for this Peter. A wonderful spot deserves the best in photography if possible -always my aim! Memories revived now of that wonderful week very near there.
